The SVS Foundation Mentored Research Career Development Awards Program provides supplemental funding to vascular surgeon scientists who have been awarded a mentored research career development award from National Institutes of Health (NIH) or the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ).

Submission deadline: March 1, 2024

The SVS Foundation offers the Clinical Research Seed Grant in recognition of the importance of clinical investigation in vascular disease. 

Submission deadline: January 10, 2024

The Resident Research Award is intended to motivate physicians early in their training to pursue their interest in research that explores the biology of vascular disease and potential translational therapies.  

Submission deadline: February 1, 2024

The SVS Foundation Student Research Fellowship stimulates laboratory and clinical vascular research by undergraduate college students and medical school students registered at universities in the United States and Canada.

The SVS Foundation supports this award for trainees to present their research at the annual Vascular Research Initiatives Conference (VRIC). Top-scoring abstracts submitted to the VRIC by trainees will be considered for the award.
